Frequently asked questions

Contact this park

What time can we check in/out?

Check-in time is 2pm and check-out is by 10am. No rush, but if you're arriving early or want to stay a little longer, just have a chat with our friendly team and we’ll do our best to help.

Can I bring my pet?

We love furry mates, but unfortunately this park is not pet-friendly. If travelling with a pet, check out one of our other Tasman parks that roll out the welcome mat for four-legged guests.

Can we have a campfire or BBQ?

Campfires aren’t permitted at this park. But you’ll still find BBQ facilities available, perfect for a classic Aussie cook-up after a big day out.

What’s the cancellation & change policy?

For exact cancellation policies, it's best to check during booking or call the park directly.

Do you sell annual sites or cabins or offer long term accommodation?

We don’t offer annual or long-term stays at South Mission Beach. But we’re always happy to recommend nearby options or help you find a stay that suits.

Are your parks accessible for everyone?

We want to be upfront — While we’ll always do our best to assist, this location may not be ideal for guests with mobility needs. Please give us a call so we can talk through your requirements.

Can I book as a group?

We welcome group bookings. Whether it’s a family reunion, a school holiday crew or a bunch of mates getting away, get in touch with our team and we’ll help you sort a setup that suits.

Cassowary Safety: How do cassowaries affect cars and what should I do?

Cassowaries may attack shiny, dark vehicles because they mistake their reflection for another bird. To protect your car, please cover it. We have a limited number of sheets to lend, and car covers are available for purchase.

Cassowary Safety: What should I know if a cassowary approaches me?

Stand still, never run. Do not feed them, and always store food securely. If a cassowary comes near while you’re eating, put food away immediately. If one tries to take it, step back and let them. Never leave food unattended.

What are the pool hours?

Pool hours are 8AM to sunset.
